Each runner must present a photo ID at the time of collection of the bib envelope in return for which he will be given his bib with a tattoo and labels for the helmet, bike and bag for the deposit.

The bib must be worn on the chest or stomach and must be permanently visible in running and in the back on the bike part. It must therefore always be positioned above any garment and can in no case be fixed elsewhere. The name and logo of the partners must not be changed or hidden.

The timing bracelet must be worn at the ankle at all times throughout the event. The bracelet is the pass necessary to access the shuttles, buses, refueling area, sanitary and drop-off areas and bag collection.

11 – Timing

Timing will be done through a system of chips to put on the left ankle. All participants will be given a bib with a saddle post and a tattoo. Timing mats will be installed on the different points of the course. A competitor who does not cover the entire distance cannot be ranked at the finish. The rider agrees on honor not to anticipate the start and to cover the full distance before crossing the finish line. The runner cannot be timed in the following cases:

• not wearing the chip

chip loss
chip degradation
chip port not compliant
For the follow-up of «elite» runners, the Organizer reserves the right to provide a geolocation tag. This tag must be worn by the runner for the duration of the event (bike + running) according to the instructions of the Organization. The use of these tags can be used to locate the runner in real time and authenticate the result, notably by checking that the runner has completed the course in its entirety.

12 – Security and Medical Assistance

On the parts of the route taking the public road, each participant must comply with the rules of the road and will be solely responsible for any breach of these rules.

The signallers are present at strategic points of the course to ensure the safety of the runners. Each participant must comply with the instructions given by the signalers.

An emergency station is set up at each refuelling station. These stations are in telephone contact with the race PC. A medical control team is present throughout the duration of the event at the race PC.

Emergency stations are intended to provide assistance to any person in danger with the means specific to the organization or agreed. The official first-aid attendants (chief of post) are authorized to put out of race (by invalidating the bib) any competitor unable to continue the event. The rescuers are authorized to evacuate by any means at their convenience the runners they deem in danger.

In case of necessity, for reasons always in the interest of the rescued person, the fire brigade will be called upon, at which time, the direction of operations will implement all appropriate means. The costs resulting from the use of these exceptional means will be borne by the rescued person who will also have to ensure his return from the point where he was evacuated. She can then submit a file to her personal accident insurance.

Any runner calling on a doctor or a first-aid attendant submits to his authority and undertakes to accept his decisions.

13 – Maximum Allowable Time and Time Barriers

Is considered «finisher» the runner performing the entire course in the maximum time allowed.

The time barrier is as follows:

– Distance L: 8:00 am

Park exit at T1: 1H30 of race
Park exit at T2: 5:30 am of race it will be necessary to leave for the last lap in running before 17:15.
Distance M: 4H00 of race
It will be necessary to leave for the last lap in running before 13:15.

Distance S: You will have to start running before 16:30 (exit T2).
The departure cut-off times (hourly barriers) of the feeding areas will be defined and communicated in the journey log.

These time barriers are calculated to allow participants to reach the finish in the maximum time imposed, while making possible stops (rest, care, etc.). To be allowed to continue the race, competitors must leave the feeding zone before the set deadline (regardless of the arrival time at the feeding zone).

Any competitor who is out of the race and wants to continue his course can only do so after returning his bib, under his own responsibility and in complete autonomy.

It can then under no circumstances be considered as «Finisher».

In case of bad weather and/ or for safety reasons, the organization reserves the right to cancel and/ or stop the current event, or even change the time barriers in connection with the prefectures concerned.

14 – Supply Areas

Only runners with a visible bib have access to the refreshment areas. The logbook will identify the precise list of refuelling points. The refreshment points are stocked with drinks and/or foods to consume on site and still water to fill your pocket or gourd.

15 – Abandonment and Repatriation

Except injury, a runner must not give up elsewhere than in a feeding zone. He must then notify the person in charge of the area who collects the bib and the chip of the runner abandoning. The runner keeps his bracelet because it is his pass to access shuttles, buses, refueling, treatment rooms…

A runner who has abandoned will systematically and obligatorily warn the race PC (by phone or by SMS at the special number indicated on the road book and on the bib).

Repatriation will be decided with the Post Manager based on the following general rules:

• Buses are available from the municipalities indicated on the road book to bring back to the finish area runners who have abandoned.

• Runners who abandon at another rescue station but whose state of health does not require evacuation must return as soon as possible and by their own means to the nearest repatriation point. In case of adverse weather conditions justifying the partial or total stop of the race, the organization ensures the repatriation as soon as possible of the stopped riders.

• In case of abandonment before a refreshment point and return back, during the meeting with the clamps, they will recover the bib and the chip. The rider will no longer be under the control of the organization. He will then have to inform the race PC by any means of his return (by tel or SMS at the special number indicated on the road book).16 – Penalization and Disqualification
